This custom home in Brush Prairie, Washington features 34’ hammer-beam trusses with6” x 6” purlin rafters. Hybrid homes use structural timber frame trusses for a portion of the building, with conventional stick framing in other areas, allowing our clients to create dramatic open spaces like this great room without breaking the bank on the entire home.
This house is decorated in a ‘hunting lodge’ style, accentuated by the huge trusses and wood ceiling. We also designed and built a matching timber frame entryway for this property.
